The company
Convagent was founded in August 2001 in Manchester as the result of a research and development partnership between the Intelligent Systems Group at Manchester Metropolitan University and the Human Computer Learning Foundation headed by Professor Donald Michie. We continue to maintain strong links with academia, allowing us to exploit the most advanced work in our field. Convagent was established to produce and market complete business solutions bringing natural language dialogue to business rule automation. Our powerful technologies allow us to address generic tasks which cross many market sectors including workflow, customer services, training and sales & marketing.
Convagent's tool kit of knowledge management, modelling, dialog design and scripting tools delivers complete expert system solutions. These specially developed toolkits enable the development of sophisticated, flexible and scalable applications quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
